To Contribute to the national Endeavour of enhancing the electricity generated using solar power as a resource and for addressing challenges posed by climate, PCI has set up its Photovoltaic Energy Division dedicated to the generation of electricity through towards setting-up of solar farms as well as ecological construction of buildings. To fully address this in the Indian and the sub continental region, PCI in a technical collaboration with Sulfurcell Solartechnik GmbH of Germany, brings high-quality thin-film solar modules based on CIS semiconductors that enable achieve a new dimension of efficiency in power production by way of economy, sustainability and aesthetics.
In meeting the goals of India's Solar Energy Mission which calls for a significant impetus for the setting-up of major solar farms that contribute to the national grid, the CIS modules are an excellent resource since they are very easy to install and offer an excellent value for money when compared with crystalline silicon products or amorphous thin films of a comparable quality per watt of electrical output.
